According to the ITIA, Milićević, 29, was charged with fixing six matches between 2022 and 2024, including five in which he competed, and attempting to fix six additional matches. The agency also said he was charged with recruiting or attempting to recruit multiple professional players into a corrupt network during the same period, with other players subsequently fixing matches.
The ITIA said it made seven attempts through multiple channels to obtain a response from Milićević during its 2026 investigation. He did not engage with the process or respond to a Notice of Major Offense issued on September 24.
Under the ITIA’s rules and sanctioning guidelines, the deemed sanction took effect on October 9, 2026. His 24-year period of ineligibility is scheduled to end on October 8, 2050, and includes a $70,000 fine.
During the suspension, Milićević is prohibited from playing in, coaching at, or attending events organised or sanctioned by World Tennis, the ATP, WTA, Grand Slam tournaments, or any national tennis association.
The ITIA said Milićević reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 1,338 in August 2014. The sanction is tied to anti-corruption violations, including the match-fixing charges and alleged recruitment activity described by the agency.
The ITIA’s announcement states that the sanction came into effect after Milićević did not respond to the notice. The agency did not publish the identities of other players allegedly recruited in the case in its announcement.
