Max Dowman has added another remarkable chapter to his rapidly developing career after being presented with three Guinness World Records following his breakthrough season with Arsenal F.C..
The 16-year-old winger has been officially recognised as the youngest player to win the Premier League, the youngest Premier League goalscorer and the youngest player to appear in the UEFA Champions League.
Guinness World Records presented Dowman with his certificates at Arsenal's training ground on October 8, 2026, as part of the promotion for its Football Edition 2027. He has also been included in the book's Class of '27, alongside a collection of the game's most exciting young talents.
Dowman's first major record came in the Champions League.
He appeared against Slavia Prague on November 4, 2025, aged 15 years and 308 days, becoming the youngest player ever to feature in Europe's premier club competition. Guinness World Records says he remains the only 15-year-old to have played in the Champions League.
Months later, Dowman produced another historic moment in the Premier League.
Against Everton on March 14, 2026, he scored a remarkable late solo goal during Arsenal's 2-0 victory. At 16 years and 73 days, he became the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history. The goal came after he carried the ball roughly 60 metres from inside his own half before finding the net.
His third record arrived when Arsenal secured the 2025/26 Premier League title.
Dowman was only 16 years and 144 days old when he collected his winner's medal, making him the youngest player ever to win the Premier League. Arsenal's title ended the club's 22-year wait for the championship.
The teenager has already shown that his record-breaking debut campaign was not a one-off.
In the current season, Dowman scored twice in Arsenal's 4-2 Carabao Cup victory over Ipswich Town, further underlining his ability to make an impact despite his age.
His rapid progress has also put the spotlight on the next stage of his development. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has indicated that the club will continue assessing what environment and level of playing time are best for Dowman's progression.
For now, however, the teenager's record book is already filling up.
Dowman's inclusion in Guinness World Records' Class of '27 places him among a group of highly regarded young players from men's and women's football.
The list includes names such as Lamine Yamal, Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland, Cole Palmer and Kylian Mbappé, with Dowman described by Guinness World Records as the youngest player in the 30-member selection.
Three world records before turning 17 is an extraordinary start to a professional career. The bigger challenge for Dowman will now be converting that early promise into sustained success at the highest level.
For Arsenal supporters, the signs are certainly encouraging.
